I am Hamilton” spotlights the contributions of alumni, teachers, parents, students, support workers, and community members in providing opportunities for children in the classrooms of Hamilton County Schools. Better opportunities for children today mean a brighter future filled with possibilities for our graduates, their families, and the community.

Ms. Haug is a first-year teacher committed to helping her students succeed. Each day, she stays after school to help students improve their math skills.

“Ms. Haug works hard every day to inspire her students to challenge themselves to learn Algebra II and Pre-Calculus,” said Dale Dworak, head of the Social Studies Department at Brainerd High. “She is one of the finest first-year teachers I’ve seen!”

A different teacher will be featured in “I am Hamilton” each day this week during Teacher Appreciation Week.
